The Aston Martin Vulcan is one of the most spectacular cars released in the past year or so. It’s literally everything a hardcore moto enthusiast could want in a supercar with next level performance. It doesn’t even matter if you’re a fan of Aston Martin or not, the Vulcan will win your heart and your respect. Not only is it the baddest car in the Aston lineup, it’s also the most incredible car they’ve ever built. Granted that will soon change once the Valkyrie makes its debut, but in the meantime, it’s in a class all by itself.
With so many spectacular aspects of the Vulcan, it’s almost difficult to determine what exactly makes it so damn appealing. There’s the fact that it has an 820hp naturally aspirated V12, which happens to be the most powerful engine ever used in an Aston. Or there’s the fact that it’s so loud and sounds so fantastic that it’s technically illegal at most race circuits. And according to the recent reports, it’s getting the AMR treatment and is claimed to be even more insane. Me personally, I think it’s the combination of those two things with a dash of the stunning good looks added into the mix. There’s not another car that comes to mind that looks like the Vulcan, and that’s a good thing. I also think it might be the sexiest, most aggressive looking front engined supercar on the planet. We’ve all heard of “love at first sight,” and that’s exactly how I felt when I first laid eyes on this spectacular machine. Then when I heard that 7.0L V12 roar to life and scream bloody murder when at full throttle, that love turned into a slight obsession and I’ve been hooked ever since.
So when I come across a video titled “Aston Martin Vulcan ON THE LIMIT,” how could I possibly turn away. And it’s a good thing I didn’t too because it’s a good one. Not only do you get to go along for a ride with British racing driver Oli Webb as he lays down some hot laps at the Anglesey Circuit, but you get to see outside the car as well with some epic slow motion shots as he slides the car around corners. And again, the sound that this car makes is truly intoxicating. Check out this video and try and tell me you disagree, I don’t think you can.
