We recently write a post on how amazing the new Polaris 800 Pro-RMK is but unfortunately, we didn’t have any actual footage of the sled available, YET, to show you. We came across a video of one of the best backcountry riders in the industry, Chris Burandt, absolutely shredding this crazy uphill tree line and he just so happens to be on the Pro-RMK.
His sled is definitely not a stock sled. I know it has the Boondocker Turbo setup on it and who knows what other modifications he has on there. It does look like it has the optional Polaris GPS screen on it and some sort of gauge that I’m sure has something to do with the turbo. The video is from somewhere in Colorado and the snow looks amazing. He is just cruising up this hill in between trees and makes it look incredibly simple, but please believe me, this is one of the most difficult and dangerous parts of snowmobiling. It’s also some of the funnest parts. If you can, turn up you speakers because the POV from his helmet gives you pretty good audio of that intoxicating turbo sound.
It actually took me a minute to figure out exactly what sled he was riding because he has it wrapped in a bright green wrap. But there at the end of the video you get a good side shot and you could see it was for sure the Pro-RMK. Plus Burandt is sponsored by Polaris so that’s obviously a good indicator.
