I don’t know about you, but where I’m at it’s pretty damn hot outside right now. So when I stumbled into this video of a snowmobile and snow bike out playing in the snow, it made me miss winter. It’s not really fair to have to choose between the two considering they both can provide fun unlike any other. The snowmobile will most likely climb a lot better, go in deeper snow, and surely will be much faster. But the bike will be significantly more agile and allow you to “boondock” in the trees like a sled could only dream of.
The snow bikes have drastically improved over the past few years, but in my opinion they still might have a little ways to go before I’ll consider trading in the sled fulltime. But the fact that you can technically put the bike back to its original form to ride in the summer months as well is pretty enticing. What do you think? If you absolutely had to pick between the two which would you ride?
