The Koenigsegg One:1 is in a class of its own with its ridiculous power to weight ratio. Not even the most powerful options available from powerhouses like Ferrari and Lamborghini stand a chance in an all-out drag race, or possibly even a hot lap around a track. There were only 6 customer cars produced, plus the prototype back at Koenigsegg. Only 1 of those currently resides in the United Stats and somehow the denim chin managed to get behind the wheel of it.
Jay Leno link up with the man himself, creator of the One:1, Christian Von Koenigsegg, for a one on one tour of the car and how it was built. Then he got to take the car out for a spin on a track somewhere in California. This particular example of the One:1 with that white paint with black and red pinstripes might be one of the best looking yet. It’s obviously a customer’s car because Leno doesn’t give it much of a thrashing on the track like we’d hoped. But then Christian gets behind the wheel and runs it a little bit harder, but still not anything close to the full potential of the car. One thing I noticed in the video is how ferocious it throws you into the back of the seat when shifting gears or under deceleration.
