Hotel Tacoma is the Adventure Sports Weekend of Every Moto Enthusiasts Dreams

What do you call a gathering of some of the top names in action sports out in the middle of nowhere combined with all sorts of motorized toys for a weekend of non-stop mayhem and a ridiculous amount of fun? Apparently, it’s called Hotel Tacoma and it’s put on by Toyota and they just recently had the second annual gathering. The first event was held in the middle of the Hualapai, Arizona Desert last year and this year it was moved to Cape Lookout in Oregon. Some of the names in attendance are Travis Rice, Andy Bell, and Jamie Bestwick just to name a few.

Toyota does a fantastic job with this whole thing and anyone who has the slightest interest in anything outdoors would fall head over heals for this type of experience. Apparently Toyota loaded up all the invitees; all 96 of them including athletes, media, and influencers and drove them out to the coast of Oregon where they had access to two miles of private beaches, forest trails, and a long list of other activities set up for them to go wild with over the course of the weekend. Aside from things like lakeside hot tubs, surfing, paragliding, ocean fishing and fly fishing, there was dirt bikes, mini-bikes, four wheelers, side by sides, and of course the fleet of Tacoma’s to go off-roading in. And after a hard day of playing you got to retire to a real bed inside what looks like a canvas tent, I think it’s what they refer to as “Glamping” because from what I see this isn’t camping. But then again it is called “Hotel” Tacoma.
