A couple days ago we told you about Ken Block’s new car that he uses in the upcoming Gymkhana 8. Well now we have some spoilers/teasers to bring you as well.
What do we know so far? First, we now know that it takes place in Dubai. Second, they use some badass Raptors to film it. One of them has a crazy camera mounting system and the other can be seen slow cruising on two wheels while filming. Why you might ask? It’s a phenomenon in the Middle East where they drive cars on two wheels called Sidewalk Skiing (see the photo below). Don’t ask me how they do it but those dudes have mad skills. To be able to flip the car up on two wheels and drive for miles down the road while your buddies climb out the windows and take the tires off is something I admittedly will never be able to do, or try for that matter. We’ll do a separate post about that later though. For now, here’s a couple of short videos of Gymkhana 8 filming. Can’t wait to see the whole film on Feb 29th.
