There’s a company based out of China that has taken the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and turned into an offroad beast that looks pretty badass. The call themselves G.Patton and the vehicle you see here is called the Tomahawk 6×6 and as you might have noticed already it has a third axle making it a true six-wheeled vehicle. Watch out Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG 6×6 there might be a new smaller and less expensive 6×6 on the market.

The G.Patton Tomahawk was apparently unveiled last month at the Chengdu motor show and it received somewhat mixed reviews. The 3.6L V6 that powers the Jeep wouldn’t be able to handle the additional weight on its own, so they added a RIPP supercharger which should bring the horsepower numbers up from around 285 to at least 325-350. Although there hasn’t been exact performance numbers released as of this writing. We know the Chinese like the offroad vehicles because Ford is planning on sending the new 2017 Raptor as one of the only full-size pickups to China upon its release.

As a matter of fact, there really isn’t a whole lot of information available for the Tomahawk. We know it will feature 35 inch Mickey Thompson tires plus additional things like the bumpers, winch, roof rack and lighting systems, but that’s all fairly obvious. We tried going to the G.Patton website but not a word was mentioned about the Tomahawk and there are a few other reports going around that question whether it’ll actually be built or not.

It also should be mentioned that according to some of the people attending the auto show felt that at least the prototype on display had poor build quality. Even the small things like badges being crooked and the wheels were apparently brutally out of alignment. Now, unfortunately, that doesn’t surprise us too much, I mean they don’t them “Chinese knock-offs” for nothing.
