Maybe I can’t speak for everyone in my generation, but when I was growing up I had numerous remote control cars and I was completely obsessed with them. That was until you drove it for 5 minutes and broke it one way or another. Most times it was running into something, or taking it in mud or water, which always seemed to ruined it. I remember one Christmas I got a new one that was supposed to be a higher quality and my dad started driving it to “make sure it worked” and less than 3 minutes later it was smashed into a wall and I never saw it again.

Well now it’s an entirely different world in regards to remote control cars, more commonly referred to as radio controlled or R/C cars now. The industry leader and biggest name in R/C is Traxxas because they offer an R/C vehicle for you no matter what your skill level or type of racing. If you’re looking for something to recreate a rally car or drift car, short course trophy truck, monster truck, or anything along those lines they got you covered. To show their skills Traxxas will put on shows and release videos of their cars doing some wild and crazy things. Some of the jumps these trucks can take are almost unbelievable, they’re almost as big as what a freestyle motocross rider would be doing, or at least a BMX rider.
