Throwing a twin turbo system on a car that in its stock form creates anywhere from 500-600hp seems like an unnecessary thing to do. But that doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea either. It’s not very often that someone says “I wish I didn’t have so much power.” And when you have a motor like the V10 found in the Lamborghini Gallardo, Huracan, and Audi R8 as a starting point and you throw in some turbos, it’s not uncommon to see over 2000hp coming from these all wheel drive beasts.

I’ve written about a few of these twin turbo Lambos in the past, such as Bob Helms and his 2000whp Underground Racing tuned Gallardo Superleggera LP570 that was crowned King of The Streets. The ferocity at which these cars can accelerate is ridiculous when talking about a road going car. They’re not tuned and set up like a drag car, at least not entirely. Usually, the main reason these twin turbo titans are built is to compete in the “flying mile” type race events like the TX2K. There’s also the occasional illegal street race that’s always entertaining to see, although that’s not me condoning anything illegal.

One of the leaders in this style of racing videos is 1320Video and over the years they’ve shot just about every high horsepower car under the sun. All the GTR’s, Supra’s, Viper’s, Corvette’s, Mustang’s, and more. But most importantly, in this situation, are the Lambos’s. They reached back into the archives and put together a compilation of some of the fastest Lambo’s they could find. As a huge fan of Lamborghini, I was in heaven watching this. I’d bet almost anything that even if you’re not a fan of the all wheel drive supercars, you will be after hearing the glorious sound that comes from a twin turbo V10. When they fly by at over 200mph they sound more like a damn jet than they do a car. So I dare you to watch this video and not fall in love.
