This marvel, boys and girls, is an 800-bhp Nissan Navara. Now for all the Yankees out there, a Navara is essentially a Frontier. Producing said 800-bhp is a Nissan GT-R motor, which I’m sure you’re all familiar with. If you’re not, then where have you been since 2007?!

The Navara was built by the team over at Severn Valley Motorsport, a UK based performance and customization shop. They are most famous for their GT-R swap into a Nissan Qashqai. Which is a smaller version of the Nissan Rogue here in North America. The car can be seen here:

Unlike the Qashqai, though, this project truck is not ready for sale, it’s still in the conceptual stages. The Navara is more of a ‘HEY! Check out what we can do!’ build, meant to worm its way into builders worldwide. I’d Say they did a fantastic job at making us dreamers drool.

SVM’s engineers and technicians are clever enough to put just about any motor you’d want into a Navara. If you have really deep pockets, and I mean deep as in over $250,000 USD, they’ll slot the pick-up’s body over an entire R35 GT-R drivetrain. Insane all-wheel-drive and flappy paddle gear box an’ all!

Given the fact that it is still in its conceptual stage, SVM will do pretty much anything. Want a manual gear box? Why not. How about rear-wheel-drive? If you’re brave enough, sure! You bring the cash, SVM can quite literally build your dreams.

“Anything is possible,” SVM’s Luke Anthony says, “we are open to the craziest of ideas.”

“We can produce these types of vehicles if we get the go-ahead for one from a customer,” Anthony continues. The go-ahead, of course, including an appropriately sized payment.

If I had the funds available to me, SVM would probably be my first stop. Once I had keys in hand, I’d be on my merry way to the Nürburgring! Stay tuned and keep an eye out for the next monster this shop puts out.

I wish I had more pictures to share with all you readers out there, however SVM is still rather ‘Hush-Hush’ on this particular project. Once the Navara advances passed its conceptual stage, I’ll write up a detailed article about it. I owe it to everyone for this tease!
